The widely popular Catona yarn base from Scheepjes has become a go-to yarn for many crafters. Made from 100% Mercerized Cotton, this Sport weight yarn is naturally breathable and characterized by a soft, delicate sheen & a smooth & supple touch. Create a range of garments, amigurumi, accessories & homeware items with this indispensable yarn.
Being EN71-3 certified, Catona is safe to use by those with a sensitive touch, not to mention that this yarn is produced using recycled wastewater, offering a more sustainable choice as well for eco-conscious crafters. Available in an enormous range of 150 colors, enjoy endless combinations. We should have all 37 of the newest colors by March of 2027. (Some colors are a special order! These take 2- to 3-weeks to receive from the purchase date.)
**Please note: only the 50g & 100g balls are available through FYN Fibers at the moment. We are planning to add some of the 10g & the 25g balls in the Winter of 2026 (Likely in late December)! ALSO, 100g size only comes in these 4 colorways; 105 - Bridal White, 106 - Snow White, 110 Jet Black & 130 Old Lace.
